Flights from London to Doha and Dubai canceled after the US strike had hit Iran

Flights from London to Dubai and Doha were canceled after Donald Trump ordered a US attack on Iran’s nuclear sites.

It comes after a flight from British Airways (BA) from London Heathrow to Dubai was diverted to Zurich on Saturday evening.

The BA109 flight rose from Great Britain on Saturday at 9:53 p.m. and reached Saudi Arabia before the Boeing 787 Dreamliner ended up in Switzerland, as the traceable tracking on the Flighttradar24 website landed.

All flights of the airline to Dubai and Doha, which were supposed to leave Heathrow on Sunday, have been canceled, including return flights, the company said.

Israel announced on Sunday that it had closed its airspace both after inbound and outgoing flights according to the US attacks.

The United States met three core locations in Iran overnight and asked Tehran to start retribution measures against Israel.

In an explanation, British Airways said: “As a result of the latest events, we have adapted our flight schedule to ensure the security of our customers and our crew whatever our top priority.

“We contact our customers to advise you on their options while we work through this developing situation.”

BA offers a flexible booking guideline for customers between Sunday and Tuesday, which have already been booked on flights to Dubai and Doha and who want to change their travel dates.
